The blog is a great idea for when we need our Citadel family and for one reason or another can't get there in person... Thank you so much for sharing your vision and drawing so many of us closer to God through a greater understanding of His word...The more i hear, the more i WANT to hear...i am no longer intimidated by reading the bible (i graduated college but never read it? talk about an incomplete education!) I am humbled and completely awe-struck by His love for us... for ME?!?! wow...and completely encouraged and excited to share my understanding of His beautiful grace with so many who were like me (in the dark, in so many ways.) I know that God is truly blessing you. I also attend Oakdale church's bible study and I was told when you would be there but I was not able to attend. The Lord has opened many doors for me be able to do some speaking engagements teach vacation bible schools, women's retreats and womens workshops outside of Salem. I have now been teaching Sunday school for 11 years. I will be in Detroit for Easter for my son's bowling tournament and I plan to attend your church service on Easter. I hope to be able to say hello before we leave for Chicago. May the good Lord continue to bless you and your family. My prayer for you is Ephesians 3:20 which is my favorite scripture. I was in youth church from 1998-2001. Just want to share with you that the purity ceremony "wedding" we had when I was in youth church wasnt in vain. I cant say I stayed pure in all ways BUT I will say that when my husband and I got married on Dec 07 he was my first! Praise God for the things HE did back then and continues to do...cant wait to visit and I am always praying for you and your walk.
